*Baby Shower Gifts For The Baby!

When I was at primary school, I become friend's with a girl who I thought was 'new', turns out, she'd been at the school before, but had moved away for a few months and in fact, I was the new girl to her.

That girl's called Annessa, we bonded and quickly become the very best of friends making friendship bracelets and daisy chains on our lunch breaks, and getting told off by the teacher during lessons for giggling.

Now, 14 year's on and with three, soon to be four children between us, I'm proud to say Annessa is still my best friend. We've hit rocky roads, and even been thrown off track, but hand of heart, she is the bestest friend I've ever had, and although I don't tell her often, I do love her and I'm so pleased to be apart of her life.

Annessa has two girls, and is pregnant with her third child, this time spotting blue for a baby boy! Annessa's never had a baby shower before, so this time round, she's having one of those parties that us Brits have seemed to adopt from our friends in America. I've compiled this list together for my favourite buys from one of my favourite baby buys website!

One: Maclaren Beginning Protecting Nappy change Balm, 150ml - £10.00
Ahh nappy balm, this item was one of my best friends when Spud was a baby and also through his toddler years too! Sitting in a nappy, whether cloth or dispoasble can become quite sore for little bottoms, this protecting balm is suitable from birth and a item mum's can never have enough of!

Two:  Sophie the Giraffe So Pure Teething Ring - £8.99
Did you know some babies are born with teeth? Nope? Well don't worry because neither did I until I gave birth to Spud and the lady next to me had a little girl born with three, yes three teeth! As Sophie the Giraffe is suitable from birth, and you never know when teething is going to make an appearence, this is an essential for little sore gums!

Three: Bam Bam Blue Duck Cuddle - £11.99
When your baby grows into a child, chances are by the time they turn three you have enough teddies to fill a room with! However, there's always that special one that has been the comforting teddy, and will soon grow with your child. Having a comfort teddy, is in my opinion, much better then a comfort blanket, because you're never too old for a teddy!

Four: Gro Company Spotty Bear Day and Night Grobag Twin Pack, 0-6m - £35.
Having a baby is one of the most scariest times of your life, not just with your first, but with every baby you have. You've got the worry of pregnancy, the worry of labour and then the worry of them growing up to get through. Baby's can and do wriggle, blankets and covers come off and with the risk of sufficating and SIDS, a Grobag to me, is the safer option.

Five: Bam Bam Baby Hand and Footprint Impression Kit - £13.00
Baby's grow quickly, very quickly infact! I should know, my baby boy is now eight year's old, how time flies! I think this gift is a perfect gift for Annessa for when her baby grows older, and she can remember how small he once was, and also for baby boy himself! When he's towering above his auntie Jade, he could have a look at the impressions of his feet, and see how small he once was!

All I need to do now, is put a list of present's together for Annessa, I have started the process, but I don't want Annessa to find out what present's she'll be receiving!

If you have any present idea's for mums to be I'd love to hear your thought's, please do leave a comment below!
