Ahh coffee.... The drink I start my day with, the drink I consume throughout the day, and also the drink I end my day with. I'm a full time mother, who work's part time, who has no help with Spud, and no colleagues to help with work, it's no secret that I go to bed really late, and wake up really early, it's a mother's life! I often think of how I'd get through the day without my daily coffee energy fix, I think I'd fall asleep on the laptop if I didn't have my boost of coffee energy!

An edible coffee fact!
Did you know that coffee was once eaten? No, me neither! Coffee was originally eaten by African tribes who mixed coffee berries with fat, which formed edible energy balls! Yes, that's right, when coffee is growing, it doesn't look anything like the brown granules we see! Coffee is actually found inside a berry, the berry is stripped down to the last bean, the bean is then roasted until it pops - just like popcorn!
Coffee around the world!
In 1675, the King of England banned coffee houses (now more preferably known as café's), claiming they were where people met to conspire against him! English folk had nothing to worry about though, as New Yorkers drink 7 times more coffee than any where else! French philosopher Voltaire is said to have drunk 50 cups of coffee a day - because he ruled! The Italian government regulate espresso because it's considered an essential part of their daily life! There is a spa in Japan that lets you bath in coffee, hmm, I'm not sure about that one!
Enough for the facts for now, unless you would like to know how coffee was discovered? Of course you do, coffee (as rumour has it) was discovered by a heard of goats, well and their owner who discovered how crazy his goats went after eating the coffee beans! I wonder if they gifted some coffee beans to the troll under the bridge, they'd never of faced the billy goats dilemma!
