Festive fun nights in
If you’re looking to do something a little different this Christmas, here are a few ideas that might help.
We all love decorating the Christmas tree and putting the decorations up inside and, increasingly, outside. But what about making a few of your own Christmas decorations as well?
They’re all cheap and cheerful these days in the shops but the true magic comes in making them yourself. If you have children, they love it all and there are loads of ideas on the net about making your own festive decorations.
Old-fashioned board games that you haven’t played for years can also be a hoot and, again, the kids love them all.

Homespun bingo can also be great fun for all the family. It’s easy enough to set up with pencils and paper or by buying a basic bingo set. Once more, the children just seem to love it. Alternatively, play real bingo games at Betfair bingo. You can play in demo mode only if you’d rather and there are lots of fun games from which to choose.
Or how about creating a movie night with a difference?
We all spend a lot of time indoors at this time of year when it’s cold, dark and often raining. So instead of just flopping in front of the gogglebox, why not try and make it a magical evening?
Turn off all the lights, make popcorn and great drinks, maybe hotdogs for the kids, and do it all by candlelight as you watch a fantastic family movie. You can even get the children to create their own cinema tickets, which always makes the whole thing more fun, especially for young children.
Last but not least, how about making some Christmas-themed snacks with a difference?
Again, there are lots of great ideas on the web, from Father Christmas hat tops for cakes to snowmen lollipops using marshmallows and wooden skewers; wonderful!
